“Established in Brussels in 1990, The European Journalism Training Association (EJTA) – the only European association for journalism educators – brings together about 90 journalism centres, schools and universities from around 30 countries across Europe. This year, EJTA celebrates 35 years of supporting journalism education in Europe. Its partners collaborate on exchanges, teaching and research projects, and also support members facing challenges related to declining democracy.”
The EJTA Board wrote this press release (below) after the AGM in Utrecht, for all our members to be used for internal or external communication about our association, our goals, strategy and future plans.
We’ve published it here on the website, because we want everybody to feel free to use the full text or parts of it. We count on your journalistic ethics not to change the text and to stick to the original message and context.
Some photographs are added as well, if you use them: do mention ©Pepijn Kouwenberg.
And if you need the original photographs: please ask the EJTA office: info@ejta.eu. If you have any questions about this press release, please address them to EJTA director: director@ejta.eu.
