The coordinators of the DESTIN project (Journalism Education for Democracy in Ukraine: Developing Standards, Integrity and Professionalism) which EJTA participated in between 2019 and 2022, received official word from the European Education and Culture Executive Agency that they have graded the project as ‘VERY GOOD’, which is the highest possible grade.
In this project one of the aims was for Ukrainian journalism schools to join an already existing professional educators network in Europe and as such we welcomed the Ukrainian Forum for Educators in Media and Journalism (UFEMJ) into EJTA in 2020.
We’re very happy with the project’s final grade and even more with the active participation of Ukrainian Media and Journalism Schools into EJTA.
EJTA wants to consolidate this collaboration with the UFEMJ in the future and hopes to welcome many Ukrainian participants in our conferences and activities.
