EJTA’s Data Journalism Taskforce was officially launched at the AGM 2022. The mission of the Task Force is to promote and facilitate the teaching of Data Journalism to Journalism students in regular programmes and mid-career programmes.
The Task Force created discussion lists on Slack and mail and maintains a living document with a list of lists of Data Journalism sources for teachers and a list of practice datasets.
At the Teachers’ Conference 2023 in Liverpool the Task Force decided to broaden its scope to teaching and using Artificial Intelligence in Journalism education. A living document with resources for AI-teachers was launched at the AGM in Vienna, Autumn 2023.
Future meetings for participants of this Task Force will be organised at the pre-conference meetings one day before the EJTA conferences.
