The next EJTA Annual General Meeting and Symposium will be hosted by the Institut de Journalisme Bordeaux Aquitaine (IJBA) from 28 to 30 October 2026.
Alongside the habitual EJTA’s focus group meetings on Wednesday and AGM on Thursday, the Symposium programme on Friday will feature panels and roundtables dedicated to the impact of artificial intelligence on journalism. More specifically we’ll focus on how journalism education can equip future professionals to engage critically and responsibly with AI, both as users and as investigators.
The 2026 AGM & Symposium will be a special occasion, as it coincides with the 60th anniversary of IJBA. A range of social and festive moments will punctuate the three days, offering opportunities to celebrate together, connect informally, and strengthen the bonds within the EJTA community.
You can find all practical information regarding registration and the detailed programme on the event website.
Please register quickly, since the available places are limited.
If you want to book a hotel in Bordeaux with reduction, there are proposals from IJBA: see link in EJTA June Newsletter or in closed LinkedIn group.
