1 December 2021 – At the online Annual General Meeting (December 9th, 2021) EJTA’s members unanimously accepted the membership of the Ukrainian Forum for Educators in Media and Journalism (UFEMJ).
UFEMJ is a consortium of ten Ukrainian universities that have a journalism department. This consortium has recently been established in the context of the Erasmus+ KA2 project on “Journalism Education for Democracy in Ukraine: Developing Standards, Integrity and Professionalism” (DESTIN), of which EJTA is a partner.
The membership of the consortium ends on December 31st , 2024. EJTA hopes that in due course the individual schools will join EJTA as new partner schools.
