{"id":459,"date":"2022-05-22T14:54:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-22T14:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ejta.eu\/?p=459"},"modified":"2024-01-20T15:01:10","modified_gmt":"2024-01-20T15:01:10","slug":"learning-modules-on-mis-and-disinformation-now-available-as-open-source","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ejta.eu\/index.php\/2022\/05\/22\/learning-modules-on-mis-and-disinformation-now-available-as-open-source\/","title":{"rendered":"Learning modules on mis- and disinformation now available as open source"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The ERUM learning modules are now accessible as Open Educational Resource via <a href=\"https:\/\/erum.uni-foundation.eu\/\">https:\/\/erum.uni-foundation.eu\/<\/a> These modules focus on issues related to mis- and disinformation and allow for an integration into diverse fields of study \u2013 journalism included.<\/strong> <p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"mso-ansi-language:EN-US\">The learning modules address controversially discussed topics that are prone to false information (such as migration, 5G or global warming), provide general knowledge in relation to \u201cfake news\u201d, conspiracy myths and science communication as well as methodological know-how when it comes to visual analysis, reporting on scientific issues or audiences of scientific information.  <\/span><\/p><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"mso-ansi-language:EN-US\">The lessons learnt, the insights gathered, and the resources produced within the ERUM project have been transformed into a set of actionable policy recommendations to tackle mis\/disinformation and foster information literacy as well as scientific literacy.\u00a0 The recommendations target policy makers, higher education institutions and media organisations and present multiple levels of actions that can be addressed by these groups. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>More information: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/projects.uni-foundation.eu\/erum\/fighting-the-battle-of-mis-disinformation-one-action-at-a-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ERUM project<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ERUM learning modules are now accessible as Open Educational Resource via https:\/\/erum.uni-foundation.eu\/ These modules focus on issues related to mis- and disinformation and allow for an integration into diverse fields of study \u2013 journalism included.
